Ava has such a thriving passion for hairdressing which shows off on every client who visits The Hair Bar as each individual leaves looking and feeling incredible!
Ava started her career within the hairdressing industry at 16 years old, quickly progressing through her training within one of the most established hairdressing companies in Edinburgh. As a key member of the team when Ava qualified she strived to make an impression not only on her other team mates and clients but also the clients of the training school and quickly became part of the training academy team. Ava enjoyed sharing her knowledge with the younger apprentice’s and ensuring every client received a high service of excellence.
In November 2017 Ava decided to take the next step in her career and set up her very own Hairdressing Business and took the leap into self-employment by creating her own brand, ‘Hair By Ava Spence’.
It has only been a short space of time but Ava has not only successfully kept a loyal list of clientele, she has a large range of new clients who have all loved their experience of finding their new hair stylist. Ava has several luxury services to offer all her clients allowing her to always provide the most up to date trends and methods of hairdressing.
Ava is currently in progression with starting her intensive training course with Easilocks Hair Extensions so she can offer an incredible choice of three different, exciting brands of Hair Enhancement in the salon.
With a love for colouring and experimenting Ava uses the full range of Wella professional colouring within the salon and throughly enjoys all aspects of colouring from a simple glossing technique to enhance clients existing colour to giving complete hair colouring transformations.
Ava as-well as colouring absolutely loves using her scissors! With highly advanced cutting skills Ava can create simple or dynamic personalised styles to meet any clients desires with great excellence
On top of catering to the needs of the ‘day to day’ client, Ava has a skill for dressing and styling hair, whether it be a glam blowdry for a girls night out to bespoke hair ups suitable for any event or even for a beautiful bride and her party on her special day.
